Quilt #5

This was started in a class in 2004. I didn't think there was enough contrast between the pieced strips and the main fabric, so started over again. BUT I had all these blocks done, so DH took half and arranged them to his satisfaction (that one has yet to be quilted) and I designed this half and finished it in January 2015. Another 10 year project. Sigh....

The color on the main fabric is really wrong--it's actually a dark navy, not brown---I do have better color sense than it looks like!!
