I just realized I hadn't posted a finish for June, even tho I had an apron done for a shop sample before traveling up for the wedding--so consequently, I have no picture yet cuz it's at the shop!! It will be a Christmas present for a friend who is the epitome of a outdoors guy.
My eldest got married on the 20th of June in Wasilla at Heaven's Hayfields. The wedding was beautifull. My new daughter in law and her sister did a lot of work to make it lovely--and the guys provided the manpower. My youngest officiated (in Alaska any one can perforn the ceremony) and was best man. They wrote their own vows and when J said his, every auntie in the crowd sniffled and teared!! Mr. and Mrs. Heaven (owners of the place) arranged for them to be driven to the airport from the reception (about 50 miles!!) in this 1959 Rolls Royce. Nice, huh???
are awesome!! I worked my buns off today: Also bought some very beautiful planters for transplanting some house plants, but ya know, they would have gotten sunburned today, so hammock and iced tea sounded great!
was discovered by DH. Any guesses as to what it is??? It wasn't there when DH set up the sprinklers this morning and one hour later---voila. A couple of days ago a bear ambled down our property line and left a deposit, now he's back. This was 30 feet from my deck--that's a little too close for comfort!!!
my, my--how can I resist ya?! Mama Mia....I signed up for another apron swap--I said I wasn't gonna --I was done for awhile, but Val tempted me with my current favorite movie---and I fell for it!!
I am married to a wonderful man and have two adult children-both males. The eldest made me a mother-in-law to a very sweet lady. The youngest is far away and single. I work part time at a quilt shop, which feeds my fabric addiction.
