Star Dust pattern by Brenda Clyde. This pattern was a Princess Mystery a few years ago, and I liked it so much this is the 2nd one I've done and the fabric is gathered for the 3rd!

This was the mystery quilt at the guild retreat in Homer this February--I did the smallest size in case I didn't love it--now I will be doing another larger!!

This was made from 9 fat quarters I've been petting for a long time and it was time to cut them and use them!!

is a wall hanging from a pattern by Mary Stenros of Willow Bend Designs. She lives here in Soldotna. I did the top years ago before she started laser cutting them, so it's now much easier!! I finally quilted and bound it last month.

#1 quilt for 2016

This quilt which I named "Kaffe's Bakery" is at the shop. The large print is a Kaffe fabric and the pattern is from Modern Relish called Bioche and Bagguette. See where I got the name?!?

is from Bonnie Hunter's pattern, Dancing Nine Patch. Instead of scrappy 9 patches, mine are 2 colored, er, patterned.

This post is numbered 38, but I didn't include aprons, bags, etc. I finished this year. My grand totals are....(drum roll, please) Starts for 2015: 38 Finishes for 2015: 42 Hooray! I finished more than I started!! I am starting 2016 with only 23 WIPs---down from 36 in 2013 (my highest). We will see if I can keep up the momentum...don't hold your breath!

is made from a Christmas panel and is hanging at the shop. It's embellished with red Swaraski crystals--love bling!

is made from Moda 10", 5" and 2.5" squares sewn together with raw edges out, higgledy piggledy. The line is French General, hence its name: French General Squared. When washed a few times it will be all lovely and fray-y.

Friday visitors

I looked out the kitchen window and saw these two at the front door, so grabbed my phone and took pictures through the glass in the foyer. I'm sure the little bull won't be around when he's legal!!

And thanks to them, my pansies were cut back!!
